W. Besley, nowly elected president of the Omaha Manufacturers’ association, starts his administration with a mem- bership larger than the association has had in any year in the past. Twenty-ons new members were signed in 1915, and the new officials now take over the run- ning of the association with a total of 24 members on the rolls. R. A. Leussler, the new treasurer of the association, takes over the hooks with something over 00 in the treasury, which is an exceptionally fine little bal- ance with which to begin the year. The new officers and new directors have already decided upon a strenuous campaign for new membership. All of Greater Omaha, which includes what was formerly Dundee and South Omaha, is to be Included in the campaign, and the whole district is to be thoroughly can- vassed. The directors also have been assigned a definite duty for the year. They are each to write a lotter once a month to Prosident Besley, suggesting new lines of activity and work to be taken up by the aasociation.
