Lofgren has been playing a star third base, doing work that almogt assurés him of a place on the team. In three of the games this week he handled- the third sack without a muff and batted without a strikeout being registered against him. At second base Cummings has been showing up well. throwing arm and has covered the second smck in good style. Puck has been shifted around to several of the bases. and has played fairly good ball. The head coach 100ks for him to improve a great deal during the next few weeks. In the field Bliss, an Omoha boy, has been making a strong bid for one of the garden jobs.
