Cotillon t Dance, The recently reorganized Cotillon club gave its first dance on Friday even'ng at Metropolitan hall. All details of arrange- ment were in the hands of Mrs. Harry Ly- man, Miss Peck and Miss Swensburg, and though It may have been a coincident, it was a fact that Friday night's german wa the most successful that has been glven since the last that was planned by the women members of the club. Miss Claire Wickizer of Geneva, Neb., arrived on Saturday to be the guest of Mr, Louis last oman’s ork A movement 15 on foot in the educational department of the Young Women's Chris- tian assoclation to secure for its student members the privilege of taking the in- ternational examinations in the studies they are persuing. The passing of these exam- inations will entitle them to full credit for that study in the majority of the foremost colleges. This will mean a great deal to many ambitious young women who are at present working with the hope of complet- ing a college course later on. Anyone wishing particulars may secure them through Miss Ferguson, the general sec- retary of the association. A beginning class in French will be opened January 8.
