But the fortunate owner of the “Book of the Builders,” will haye in his possession the store-house itself.con- taining all that was vaiuable. from which he can draw at leisure. Reason &. While the published records and data of great value, it is in tho “unwritten history” of the Fair that the most inter- esting and vauable lessons occur, and this can only be given to the world in the “'Book of the Builders.” Reason 9. This Memorial History should not be confounded with the many unauthorized and unauthentic volumns about the Fair. It is the only book which com- bines the work and the worker, the re- sult and the process, the exhibition in theory and in fact, Reason 10, 1t is to be ilustrated by the skill of the leading artists of America. The list of painters, decorators and illustrators, includes every prominent name in this country. Reason 11, 1 Tt will tell the story of the conversion’ wasto into a *'city Reason 12. It will follow the whole work from fiest to last. It will relate the difficul- ties in the path of the work and how each problem was met and solved. Reason 13.
