PURSUED HIN WITH A POP fequel of a Story of Domestio Disoord and a Woman's Tompor, DIVORCE PROCEEDINGS MAY FOLLOW Troubles of & Houschold Terminate with g Street Scone—Outeome of an Unhappy Married Lifo-Tnterviews With Husband and Wife, Mrs. Lizzie Ramacciotti was arrested by Detective Vizzard yosterday aftornoon on a charge of disorderly onduct and carrying concealed weapons. This is the outcomo of domestic troubles which have arisen in tho Ramacciotti household. For some time past intimate friends of the family have been aware that trouble was brewing between husband and wife. About two weeks ago Dr. Ramacciotti left sheir home at 1815 Jackson street and inscrted an advertisement in a local paper stating that he would no longer be responsibla for any debts incurred by his with, This widened the breach, and friends tricd to effect a quiet sottlement of their property affairs and a soparation that would not ea much publicity, This was the state of affairs until yesterday. About 2 p. m. Mrs, Ramacciotti started for the doctor's horse hospital on Harney street near Eighteenth. She had blood in her eye, hatred in her heart and a large gun ina small handbag. As soon as the doctor restod his eyes upon his wife ho anticipated trouble. Flod for Personal Satety, Ho started on a run through the Tlighteenth street engine house with his wife after him. “The doctor escaped and ran down Farnam street. Detective Vizzard, to whom the doctor had appealed for protection, ar- rested the enraged woman. She fought, bit and scratched the ofticer, and it was only with the aid of a bystander that he could take the revolver away from her. The. ofticer shows many marks of the encounter. r'he woman was placed in tho matron's room and it was thought that she had a dirk concealed r her dress, but she denied this, Several friends called at the tation and offered to sign her bonds, but as the police judge was mnot in the city and the woman was in such a desperato frame of mind Chief Seavey refused to ace cept any bonds until she had calmed down, Mvrs. Ramacciotti said toa reporter for Tig Bee that she only went to the barn to sce why her husband” had replevined hor furniture to prevent her moving to _another house which she claims to own, She was very bitter in speaking of the doctor and aceused him of various things and squander- ing cousiderable money. She says that he urned home after an absence just before Christmas ana she gave him 81,600, Sinea then she ave him smaller sums, and she alloges that during the nine years of their married life he has used 218,000 of her money. She claims it was hor mouey tiat he used to build tho veterinary hospital and that she has a $12,000 mortgage on the place. Wil Seok a Divorce. Mrs, Ramaceiotti is represented by Attor. y Green and says she will institu proceedings at ouce. She was much excited a8 she rocked back and forth in a chairin the police matron’s office, Dr. Ramaceiotti av first declined to talk of the affair, but finally said that his wife was insanely jealous of him and made his life o burden. "He alleged that about three weeks ago she gave him poison and he became very sick. He was afraid she would kill him and he left home. Since then, he says, he has 1 trying to get o settlement out of her regarding their property and quietly securo o legal separation. It now seems that tho trouble will not reach an amicable sevtle- went, R Don't You Know That to have per perfect health you must have vure blood and the best way to have pure blood is to take Hood's Sarsaparilla, the best blood purifier and strength builder. Two or three amend- ments will be made, but with thoso excep- tions the ovdinance will stynd as printed in Tue Bk, ‘The ordinanco may fail to council. There isa dotermined to i, led by Mr. Wheeler, and tune the members are about eveuly divided. They do not desire that the street railway company be compelled to earry peo- vle coming from another town to uny part of this y for one fare. This they urge us the ground for their opposition to the ordi- nance Councilman MclLeario says such talk is | mere bosh and that the real grounds for the opposition are not made known by the op- posing members. He regavds tho dise position to e 1 the South Omaha people to re on that line as o sclish scheme of those who own proper- ty out on Shermun and Ames avenues or near there, Notonly this, but many who laboe in the Magie City and reside there would take up their residence in Omaha if thay were transferred to parts of the city whero Sheapaents conld he ‘astuned hndils A not cost a man 20 or 30 cents a day to mako the trip to and from work. The assessment will be made axuinst each of the stockholders, assessing him with tho nount that he owns, but for convenieuce, only tho nggregate amount will be careied into the treasurer's books, Attorney Cornish. in behalf of the Bunk of Commerce, maintained that the stock should be assessed for just what it would bring on the if offered for sale, but the com- missionc > not of that opinion, T'he Jists will be mado up by tho county li, but it will be several days bofora they can be comploted, a5 he has to go through heir last sworn statements and pick out yho several itews that ave taxable. e ple pues, bt Do Witt's alve will cure theu, e Maurrdage Liconses, The following murriage lice sued yesterday: Nume and 2ddress. § Albert Guthrie 1 Nellie Boggs, Cry § Gedrgo F.
