Heffner, a wealthy stock dealer of this city, was arrested today on a bench warrant issued by Judge Lausing. Heffuer was dofendant in a suit at law instituted by B. A. Gibson, and had been ordered to come into court and answer cestain questions in regard to the disposition of his property. Ho refused or neglected to do so and Gibson filed a complaint that be was about to leave the cily. ‘The warrant was served by Deputy Bucriff McFarland. Celebrating St. John's Day. The colored Masonic lodges of Omaha and Lincoln colebrated St. John's day by a parade and a picoic in this city this aftor- noon.
