When the conferenco was at an end, how ever, they were as unable to form any idea of what they would do as before they started out to get the motor company's scalp. An effort was also made to induce Mr. Bixby, the plaintiff in the suit which re sulted 1n the tying up of the First strost line, to come in out of the wet, but Mr. Bixby at last accounts had not been shaken in his determination to stay outside and sample the weather for a timo yet.
