Among the lonesome looking fellows who faced Squire Schurz in police court yesterday morning, was one whose face was readily recoguized by the reporters. It was the well known physiognmy of a traveling man in the employ of one of the leading wholesale houses of the city, A few days since The Bee referred to a certain traveling man who was preparing to cause himself trouble by following the wife of a leading business man, and it seems that the trouble came sooner than was expected, and from a different quarter. The causes that led to his arrest are as follows: As Senator Groneweg was returning to his home on Washington avenue Monday evening about i1 o'clock, he noticed a man endeavoring to hide behind a tree on his grounds. He went up to the fellow, who could give no colierent account of himself, and the senator promptly started with him to the police station, When they reached the Bryant street bridge the prisoner refused to #0 uny farther, but the law-maker began to use his lungs to such good effect that the de- linquent saw that it was no use to refuse, and went peaccably along to the station. When asked by the judee concerning his business there, he stated that he was justa tritle sweet on the senator's servant girl, and went up to see if she had retired. his girl, by the way, is the sawme Rosie Fisher who scalded Billy Suuth @ few wonths ago.
