Rail freights on cat- tle and dressed beef are down to the lowest on record and this mainly aceounts for the advance of Wednesday and Thursday the supply, especially of native cattle, is greater than last week, and the increase over last week is 10,000 head, so it will be seen there is no shortage and the advance is not on secount of the shortage or an improvement i the ordinary demand.
