[PROM THE BEE'S LINCOLN BURFPAT.] The inquest was held yesterday on the re- mains of Charles Morris, who was found hanging in his room at midnight. The in- quest failed to disclose any cause immediate for the act, and it wus not shown that Morris was drunk or under the inflyence of liquor at the time, The inquest showed that Morris was one of six occupying two double rooms a8 sleeping apartments, and that when Morris went to the room at about 10:80 in the even- ing in company with R. H. White that two of the roomers—W. W. Swan and James Morris—were then sleeping in one of the rooms. White, who camne to the room with Morris, noticed nothing wrong and went to bed and asleep leaving Morris disrobing. About 12:30 W. E. Foreman, who also roomed there, came to the door and finding that it opened hard pushed his way in. light was burning low, and hanging ag the door, with a rope over the transom, the warm body of Morris, who in hanging himself had been obliged to draw up his knees in order wccomplish strangulation. COMPLAINT AGAINST THE B. & M, Nelson Adams, a resident of Gage county at Adams station has filed & complain® agaiuat the B. & M, railroad and the consoli- dated liue the Atchison & Nebraska rail- rond, upon which road Adams is situated. The complaint sets forth that » mile and a half west of Adams station the complainant finds doing duty in the road bed 125 broken ties which he claims makes the road at such places unsafe Tor the traveling public and a danger to lives.
