The general topic of conversation among business men yesterday was the proposed meeting of citizens and taxpay- ers to express their indignation at the at- tempt of the railroad attorneys to defeat the new charter. Notwithstanding the extreme cold weather citizens were willing to stand and talk upon the mat- ter on the streets.
