He s inclined to the oplnlon that Sander has gone back to Nebraska to settle up the trouble there. He finds that Sander has given checks on the bank for a number of bills, and that all these have been honored except two. He says that the museum businees is In good condition, and while he does not know just how matters stand botween himself and Sander, yet he thinks that if | the latter has gone for good, ha has not got away with any great sum, and that he (Palmer) has not lost anything by him., Mr. Sander hss been known here for a long time before he went Into the |l museum, and the reports about him strike his friends with much sarprise, omE e it PERSONAL.
