In almost every branch of business merchants express themselves as well pleased with the outlook, Flour and millstuffs remain steady at same prices as last week and in good demand. Eggs and butter are liberal; butter is steady, same prices, but eggs, owing to heavy de- clines ingenstern markets, which stopped some shippers from buying, stocks could not be moved readily, and commission houses that depended greatly upon that trade dropped prices; are now quoted at 10c, 1c lower than Inst week, The grocers list is unchanged, and business is reported gooud.
