Lumber is com- mencig to move a little and prices have ruled about the same as du.ing .the entire winter, Owing to the fact that the eastern roads have been blocked with snow, it has baen impossible to ship grain from this mar ket, and the elevators have been filled to overflowing, Grain has been held back in the country, making the receipts for the past week much lighter than duriog the preceed- ing wesk, Prices on grain have advanced slightly on all kinds of grain except wheat and barloy. Tn barley thore s nothing doing | and the prico of wheat has declined very little, Poultry has been rather quiet during the past week; the receipts have been quite moderate, and in chickens and ducks the sup- ply bas fallen ehort of the demand, Prices continue firm, In egga the supply is greater and the price has fallen off considerably and they have been sold during the past week at from 22to 24 cents per dozen, A few pota- toes have been recsived, but nearly all of them have shown frost and 40 cents was the highest P paid. The recsipts of butter have heen. very light, although the market has been good acd prices firm, The receipts of hogs during the past week were not as heavy as during the preceeding week. The prices paid were higher and all stock received sold. The following prices are charged retailers by jobbers, whelesalers and commission mer- chants with the exception of grain, which is quoted at the prices furnished by the elevators and other local buyers: market weak 81, Louis, ceita, 110 Saturday exports, shipping, 5 Grain Wheat—Onsh No. 2, 61a, Barley —Nothiag do Ryo—Cnsh No. 8, 4 Oy m-fNu 2, B White Corn30c.
