Circumstances justify the Christian people of our city to stand up now and declare that the Sabbath day is God’s holy day. Are the Christian people to be called inveterate kickers for standing up for truth and order! True Chris- tianity builds up a people, makes our Sabbath laws for the comfort und good of all mankind. Open violation of one of our best laws has been the curse of our city much too long. Sunday desecrators boast and tell how many yards of paving they have laid, in the very face of our churches and all Gospel rlyight. Where are our Christian teachers? Are there no more than one like Lot in our city, with all her churches, 1o atand up and declare righteousn Would it not be better for the Christian people to make an effort to enforce our Sunday law before the; say nothing can be done? If our Sabbat! law is a dead letter the sooner the courts 80 decide upon it the better for the Christian public. A.
