Bxchangs Bills—Firm at 4.81}; demand, 484, Governmerds - Irregular, Stocks—The market to-day was heavy, though at first the effects of the election re- ports were undoubtedly to induce some buying and to advance prices, There was no demon- strations on the part of the bulls and bear cliques, and the market has only drifted. There is still very little dealings in the market on either side by the speculating public, out- of Wall street, though there is a constant volume of investment, buying and withdrawal of dividends, and paying stocks from the street, over and above what comes in from that class of holders. This, however, has but little effecton the fluctuations of the market. COUPONY Ba. 100, 114} 121¢ Pacifc 64 of 5. 130 STOCKS AND BONDS, American_ Express Burl., Cedar Rapids & Northern.
