The girl's family shrink from prosecut- ing the case, saying that they do not want the girl disgraced by the publicit of a trinl, and th may be dropped. Mr. Tenney is very stoutsin his denial, saying the girl was frequently around his_store, and was behind the counter, saying she would be clerk for him, and he took her by the arm and led her out.
