Deputy Sheriff Metealf returned Monday night from Kansss City, bringing with him the man Straup and Mrs, Peter Johnson, charged with adultery. Metealf got the neces sary papers from Governor Critten- den at Jefforson City, on Sanday, and had the honor of driving with the g vernor himeself.
