The game batween the Loavenworth Reds and Council Bluffs nine prom- ised for yesterday was not played on account of the rain. The Reds ar- rived in good time, and were quarter- ed at the Pacific. As the club had arranged to play in Omaha to-day, there was some difficulty in perfect- ing arrangements for a postponed game, but it has been finally arranged 80 that this afternoon the game will take place. The Council Bluff nine have shown much enterprise in secur- ing the presence of the Rsls, and equally 80 in retaining thew for the gume this afternoon, The game will be called at 3 o'clock this afternoon and will be well worth a large attend- auce.
