Fathers and Sons and 3ons-in- Law Mixed Up InIt. ‘A young man named Daniel Buck- ovis had a trifling misunderstanding with his brother-in-law, August Kaiser, at the residence of the latter near Boyd's packing house late last night. Kai it seems, had a misunderstanding with the father of Buckovis and was about to pound him when the young man interfered. This morning young Buckovis awoke in the calaboose with a large sized pain in his head and a paralyzed optic which he vainly tried to manipulate. His jaw was altogether out of kelter and his spinal column was stiffened up 50 that he could scarcely turn his head with both hands. The young man had ovidently been ina row. He explained that he had tried toprevent Kaiser from hurting his father., That gentleman then turned his attention to the youngster, and in the scuffle which ensued the latter freely con- fessed that he got the worst of it. To complicate matters Officer Black appeared on the scene and Buckovis was carted to the police station. To add a still further complication Kaiser this morning swore out a warrant for assault against both father and son, and taking it altogether it may be re- marked that Buckovis has got himself into a scrape. e FREE OF COST.
