The funeral took place Sunday afternoon, at 4 o'clock, | from his residence on Harney street. | The death was very sudden, as he | was up aud playing all day Friday, and gave no signs of illness. His loss is deeply felt by his parents, who fairly worshipped the bright | nttle fellow. —Mr. J. W. Tousley, Hivicgin | Saratoga precinct, woke up Sun- | day to learn the disagreeable fact that a burglar had “gone through” his house apd stable during the night, and stolen about $300 worth of stuff. Among the articles stolen were one full smit of clothes, a_coat | and vest, one overcoat, twe pairs of woots, one silver wateh, and one set of new harness. Mr. Currier is one of the best artists in the West, as any one who has gseen his artistic work will testify. His display at the State Fair attract- ed marked stteniion from every- body. He exhibited s new style of photograph called the‘‘glazed enam-~ el,” which gives a very handsome background and maeks the photo- graph jtself an attractive promin- ence. 'Phis sfyle of photograph is destined to become quile pgpular with those who have a love for the beautiful ; and who Lasnot? They are but another evidence of the great and rapid improvement that is being made in the art of photo- graphy. Mr. Currier also exhibited ashowease of children’s protographs, which were most beautifully taken.
