A TIGHT SQUEEZE NORWICH HUMBLES e L Doubles by McKay and Patton, scoring two runs, gave the local K-C's a sufficient lead over the New London K. of C. to win Monday's ‘game at the fairgrounds before a crowd of nearly three thousand. The New Londoners came up Wwith the notion of giving the local K. of C. a beat- ing;but they had the tide turnediagainst theln. The game was full of thrills at lmes. % Bill Austin was there when it came to catching flies and was applav led by the fans. This ended the home team's scoring though they threat- ened several times during the innings which followed and had two men called out on close plays at the plate. Spike Liberty was invincible through- out and not until the last inning did the visitors score. Duggan got a life when Corcoran dropped his fly and scor- ed when T.
