COVENTRY A very interesting historical page- ant was given Wednesday evening at the Second Congregational charch in connection with Coventry grange fair. The program was under the direction of Mrs. Sidney H. Foale. One hundred and thirty-five people took part. The divisions were as follows: The Pilgrim Trathers, 1860; Colonial Dames of 1776; Abraham Lincoln and slaves of 1861, closing with a company of Civil war veterans from Manchester. After leaving the platform, the veterans stood under their flag while the audi- ence sang Marching Through The Spanish war of 1338 was repre. sented by a company of sailor girls from Vernon. The next was 1917, the i present war, with the frags of the al- lies, and fimishing with Coventry's Own, the Home guard. The future was represented by the Boy Scouts of Manchester, Little.
