The parade which is usually a prominent feature of national con- ventions of the Order of Flks will be omitted at the national conven- tion which will_be held in Boston in July. Bdward Rightor, grand exalted ruler, has written to the convention committee endorsing its recommen- dation that the parade, be dispenscd with and saving that “all displavs should be avoided and the efforts of those in attendance at the convention be centered on determining ths best and most helpful patriotic service that the order can perform.” The Norwich lodge has received the owing communication from W. C. Twombly, district deputy grand exalted ruler: I am instructed by our grand exalted ruler. [Bro.
