Harry Luken's Winter Circus and Animal Shows will be seen at this theatre for the last time today and every person who reads this and likes a circus should be on hand to see the clowns, acrobats, ae- rial performers and numerous other attractions at the circus. There are seven big acts, including some of the world's foremost artists of the sawdust ring. The troupe includes such well known circus stars as Mile. Bvelyn, the world’s youngest lady wild animal trainer; The Four Sutherlands, a fam- ily of highly trained contortionists, and one of the best acts of the circus. There are the Aerial Fausts, wonder- ful trapeze artists. A veritable circus_within a_circus, Harry Luken's Dog, Pony and Monkey Circus, The Kennard Brothers and Hart in a_pantomime comedy skit, The Four Lukens Brothers in a cast- ing act, a feature that has been the headliner in some of the foremost cir- cuses. The Powells in marvelous feats on_the tight wire. There is also an exceptional fine pro- &Tam of Triangle pictures. The fea- ture is Douglas Fairbanks in His Pic- ture in the Papers, a five-reel produc- tion, and a two-reel Keystone comedy with Willlam Collier. One of the finest vaudeville and pic- ture shows ever seen in this city is booked to appear at the Davis the first haf of next week. The special attraction this time is not the vaude- ville but the big Triangle masterpic- ture, Peggy, featuring that eminent actress, Billy Burke. When you have seen this picture you forget all about the other pictures that have come and gone. Peggy is a seven-reel produc- tion produced by Mr. Thomas Ince. who has surrounded Billy Burke with & cast of stars that cannot be equalled. It would take too long to try and tell You about this picture here, but don’t ss seeing it Monday, then you will telling your friends not to miss it. Besides this big feature there are three Yery fine vaudeville acts, headed by Irene and Bobby Smith, two dainty isses who presént songs worth while. The third act is Gilmore Corbin, a jovial American comedian, who sings songs and tells funny storles in a way that keeps everycne in teh best of spirits. To complete the show there is a two- reel Keystone comedy called The Great Pearl Tangle, an awful funny picture, featuring the popular comedian, Sam Bernard, surrounded by a cast of Key- stone funmakers. Captain George Auger, seven feet eleven in his stocking feef, has a treat in store for the children who attend the special 5c children’s Saturday mat- inee today, when he will present the old story of Jack the Giant Killer in tabloid form and interspersed with catchy musical numbers. There is a cast of ten people in the show, includ- ing Mr. Auger, who is known as the tallest man on the stage, and Ernest Rommell, the smallest actor in the world. Several special sets of scenery are used and the show is well cos- tumed throughout. On the picture pro- gramme today the feature will be the five reel Paramount production, The Mummy and the Humming Bird, fea- turing the well known Broadway star, Charles Cherry, and taken from the famous play of the same name written by Isaac Henderson.
