Crowd Attends Fair and Sal The Ladies' Aid society held the an- nual fair and sale last Saturday night. A good number was present from Plainfield, Central _Village, Moosup, Sterling, Greene, R. I, Attleboro, Mass., and Providence. The name quilt pleced by Mrs. H. Burdick and Miss Maud Brown brought $12 through their energetic efforts. The fancy table, un- der the supervision of Mrs. D. S. Ken- yon, Mrs. F. Whiting and Mrs. Charles Spaulding netted about $50. The chow- der was delicious, having been made by Mrs. D. S. Kenyon at her home, and the cold meats as prepared by Mrs. R. B. Marriott were very appetizing. The society took in between $140 and $150 from all sources. Miss Kelly of Lyme visited Oneco school Wednesday.
