Quinn who addressed the court. The name of Charles H. Haskell was proposed for the appointment by Attorney Herman Alofsin, 2nd. In making the appointment of At- torney Browning, Judge Gardiner <3reene said that he appreciated all that had been sald in advocacy of Thomas Browning, but as all the matter passed upon by the receiver The bond for the reeciver is $50,000. The two gentlemen whose names were before the court are brothers and it is said that Thomas Browning desired that the appointment should go to his broth- er.
