At the regular mesting of the auxiliary of St. Joseph's hos- pital held this week, it was voted to turn over to the Free Bed fund one thousand dollars, $789.21 of which is the proceeds of the Charity ball, and the balance comes from the treasury of the organization. It has also been decided to hold pub. lic whists again this year, as there was a demand for them again.
