Edmund Breese, the Peerless Actor, in “The Master Mind,” Five Reels. Because one of a pair of romping ‘boys was kidnapped by a revengeful person, a servant in the house, an- other criminal m made, another ‘home shadowed uncertainty, an- other child llnked with a Mand of thieving craoks, and yet the =pirit of vengeance is not satisfled. Such is the state of affairs in the magterful five reel spectacle entitled The Master Mind, featuring Edmund Breese, shown for today only at the Colonial theatre. The child brought up among a noto- ‘rious band of crooks, becomes. very proficient in his forced vocation, and in later years known as the Master Mind, he seeks revenge upon the young district attorney, whom he dis- covers has caused the electrocution of his only brother for a crime of ‘which he is not guilty. The extraor- dinary brilllant photoplay and mani- festly cpiendid acting make this a picture lo' =~ to be remembered, and the story icems with mystifying inci- dents, and bewildering denouements. The prices for the big feature are, mat- inee 10c, evening 1dc. EAST SIDE ITEMS Guests Entertained in Local Homes— People Who Have Been Away.
