Windham County WINDHAM ¥ e Annual Fair and Supper Will Net $100 ~—Guests in Town This Week. k. The annual fair given by the ladies of the Congregational church was held ‘Wednesday evening. A fine supper of chicken salad, potato salad, rolls 'cake and coffee was served to about 125, under the direction of the president of the Ladies’ Aid society, 'Mrs. Ada Larrabee, assisted by the two vice presidents, Mrs. Arthur Williams and Mrs, George Cook, and by Mrs. Henry Bingham, The fancy work table in charge of Mrs, R. G. Watrous was well patronized. Miss Dorothy Brown cleared $8.25 at a home made candy table. The supper tables, attractive with flowers and lighted candles, were in charge of Miss Gertrude Arnold. Mrs. Ashlev Anderson, Mrs, H. C. Lathrop, Mrs Andrew Metzger and Mrs. W, F, Maine presided at _the coffee urns. The waitresses were Mrs. Abel Burnham, Mrs_John Potter, Miss A. M. Patton. the Misses Abbe, Polly MacDonald, Julia Guild, Marjery Sher- man, Miss Grace Bates, Miss Ellen Hawkins, Miss Emma Larrabee, Miss Josephine Keeney, Miss Elizabeth An- derson arranged the programme for the entertainment, which followed the supper and which consisted of piano solos by Miss Dorothy Brown of Wind- ham, readings by Miss Hyde of Hamp- | ton and selections by a maie quartette from Mansfleld.
