William Eneman has been awarded the contract for the erection of a new house on Maple street for James Grim- son. The house wil be of frame con- struction and will contain seven rooms. To Build House. Barle A. Tyler of Russell street is securing estimates for the construction of a new house near Russell street. Thom: Waddell is building the foundation. for a two-family house to be erected on Madison avenue for J. Watson Goslee. Michael O'Connell has purchased two building lots on Flower street and will have a house built on, the site. Plans have been accepted for the new bank building, 36x107 feet, to be erected on Main street, adjoining the! Middlesex County Building for the Middletown National Bank. It will have a stone front, and the remainder of the walls will be brick, with stone trim. The banking room will be 33x61 feef, 30 feet high. The rooms for the officers will be at the front of the building, and there will be a mezza- nine floor at the rear. It will have two vaults, each 8x16 feet. The interior of the building will be finished with imported marble wainscotting and Caen stone above. It will have a large skylight, 16x34 feet. The drawings will be completed and then estimates will be received.» Contract for Residence. Mylchreest Bros. have been awarded the general contract for a new resi- dence to be erected on College place for W. T. Rich of Boston. The house will be of frame construction, and will be provided with steam heat, man- tels, fireplaces and hardwood finish. C. O. Stone & Son have the contract for the carpenter work.
