SRt i Lt NORWICH BULLETIN, TUESDAY, APRIL 22, 1913 From Europe. It was past midnight Sunday when the marauder went meandering in Newton avenue, evidently foliowing in his tracks of a few weeks ago when he visiled the Clark, Simmons and Grant homes in that vicinity. This time, instead of keeping on the latch- key route as formerly, he selected the second story route by way of veranda roof and through an open window into the home of Willlam St Onge. The marauder was partially through an open window and was about to step on the floor of the room occu- pled by Miss Phebe King, sister of AMrs. St. Onge, when the shouting of the lady who occupieds the soundeqd loud in the mid: t stillness. ‘The fellow made a hurried retreat, and when Mr. and Mrs. St. Onge re- sponded to the alarm, he had reach- ed a place of safety. The police were notified and a thorough search of the vicinity was made, but without re- sult. ‘When entry was made to the Clark, Simmons and Grant apartments the general opinion that tho midnight operator is a resident of the vicinity and familiar with the premises vis- ited. Although under suspicion, there 38 not tangible proof sufficient to warrant arrest ang prosecution. Im the meantime residents avenue are providing themselves with firearms and ammunition, and there is talk of organizing a house guard for the protection of the residents of the section. . - Two Westerly children, a boy and a girl, both under the age of four, surprised their mothers last Saturday afternoon by staggering home ingl riously drunk. The boy had a laugh- ing jag but the girl was Inclined to ‘weep. I tried — | ‘then ——————, and —— salve, but it kept growing. I had to cus the bair from the ringworm that ran in the scalp. It must have been of two weoks' standing as it had grown to 2 good size, when 1 got my husband to get me a sample of Cuticura Soap and Ointment. I washed 1t with hot water and Cuticura Soap then applied the Cuticura Ointment. The first application beneflted her. When my sample was used I saw it was not so large and angry, | 80 I bought a box of Cuticura Ointment, | and a cake of Cuticura Soap and applied them three times a day. The constant use for four or five days checked its growth and in two weeks more she was entirely cured. Cuticura Soap and Ointment also cured my son in two weeks of a case of ringworm.” (Signed) Mrs. A. E. Neville, Dec. 19, 1911. Cuticura Soap and Cuticura Ointment are sold throughout the world.
