In this manner the field will be in motion and the positions will have beeg taken when the actual start is made. Bombs to Start Racers. The method eof giving the starting signal is a novel one. Daylight bombs, which explode 250 feet in the air and glve forth dense smoke, will be used. One of these will be fired each minwute for five minutes before 10 o'clock, tha starting hour.
