The Hand of Uncle Sam, Thrilling Feature Picture. A wonderfully thrilling and patriotic ypicture shown at the Breed theater last evening was the great spectacle entitled The Hang of Uncle Sam, and deals with the false accusation of a young American at one of the Central Amer- fcan republics. He is accused of at- teempting to overthrow the govern- ment, and condemned to be executed. Appeal is made to the local govern- ment_but to no avail, and finally an sppeal is made to the United States consul, who immediately wires the sec- retary of war at Washington, who de- spatches the torpedo boat destroyer Panther to the port where the accused man is confined, and arrives a moment or two before the execution is about 10 take place. The consul, assisted by the navy, asserts the authority of the government, and demands the release of the American. The spectacle of the Panther coming uuder full steam is ene of the inspiring scenes in this great picture.
