Beginnine this (Tuesday) morning, the crews on the Putnam lines of the Connecticut company will cease to run the cars into Massachusetts as far as Webster. as heretofore. To comply with Massachusetts lesislation, the plan inaugurated this morning is brought about and hereafter the Con- necticut crews will finish their morth- bound run at West Thompson, where the cars are to pass, instead of at Coomer’s Switch, and where the Mas- sachusetts crews will take charge and tsun the cars into Webster. Only the crews will change. As far as the rons of the road are concerned th will be absolutely unaffected by the new plan. The cars will run on ex- actly the same time and umder ex- actly the same conditions excepting as above noted. The system adopted to- day has been expected for several months.and the switoh to be used at West Thompson was bullt last fall to permit the arrangement now in effect.
