In the morning the pastor gave an interesting sermon and at 3 o'clock a full house greeted Rev. J. F. Cobb of Norwich, who held the audience closely. A finely render- ed solo by Lemuel Fielding was en- joyed. The decorations of the church were goldenrod and fern. Short talks were given by the pastor and John Noland of New London. The mesting was in charge of G. R. Sanders. Vis- itors from both Norwich and New Londen were present. A large party from Franklin spent Friday at the Poquetanuck draw bridge on a crabbing trip. A very pleasant and suecessful day was spent by ali, the party returning home late in the afternoon with a flarge number of crabs. The success of the day was largely due to the guidance of Arthur L.
