FROM OKLAHOMA Editor ‘Nonpartisan Leader: Could you inform me if I can get hail insur- ance here in Oklahoma from the state of North Dakota? I am only sorry I am not living in North Dakota. It is sure getting a holy fright here to make a living, with so many grafters to deal with and no authority to take the part of the poor cuss. ; They were paying $2.756 for wheat " here, but would buy very little, claim- ing that elevators were full and the shortage of cars. Now they put wheat down to $2.10 and everybody is haul- ing and there is lots of room for more under the same car-shortage condi- tion. It is almost too plain that there is a nigger ir the woodpile. Hitchcock Okla. J. H. YOUNG. P. S. If you can find a man in North Dakota who is not satisfied just send him to me. I'll trade him out of his half section for mine. J. H. Y. The state of North Dakota is not allowed to write hail insurance out- side of the state. The offer of Mr. Young, in his postscript, is respectful- ly referred to the I. V. A. editors of North Dakota.
