SLANDERS IN BISMARCK - This Man Attended Meeting and Was . Angered by Falsehoods Editor Nonpartisan Leader: 1 at- tended the League meeting at Bis- marck and the speaking was good and there was a big attendance. But I read an article in the Bismarck Daily Tribune slandering the meeting and the speakers in a shameful manner. My advice to any member of the Nonpartisan League whenever they see ‘an article in a paper condemning the League, is to write and stop the paper 3ght then.—G. E. CLARK. “HIS BEST INVESTMENT Gontka ‘“Joined” Before He Ever Met ? Organizer Editor Nonpartisan Leader: I met a man who told me in a few minutes : talk about the Nonpartisan League and from that time I considered my- self a member. The first time I met a solicitor I drew him a check for $6 and he informed me the membership was now $9. Very well, I drew a check for $9 and consider it the best investment I have ever made since I came to North Dakota, or in my life for: that matter. It pays to meet a stranger when he has such goods as the Nonpartisan League has in store, and no more beneficial reading could . enter any citizen’s home.—CHAS. H. GONTKA. I like the Nonpartisan Leader and believe it the best paper in the state and should be read by every farmer as well as every — business man. ~ I regret to say that even in this part of the country so far from the state capital and business center, we = have Craftys and Sliprys who attack the Nonpartisan League and its prin- ciples, even though they are dependent upon the farmers for a living. “It can hardly be possible that these men are so_thick headed as not to know the full value of the organization to the~ farmer, and prosperity to the farme SEVENTEEN No!
