NORTHERN PACIFIC RAILROAD, ANNUAL MEETING OF STOCKHOLDERS AND ELEC- TION OF BOARD OF DIRECTORS AND OFFICERS, The annual weeting of the stockholaers of the Nerthern Pacific Railroad Company was neld at noon yesterday, in the company’s main office, corner of Filth avenue and Nicth street, The meeting lasted upward of three hours and was perfectly harmonious, ‘The following Board of Directors was re-elected (or tho easuing year:—Charles B. Wright, of Pennsylvania; Frederick Billings, of Vermont; George W. Cass, of New York; Lenjamin P. Cheney, of Massachusetts; Charlemagne Tower, of Pennsylvania; Johnston Liv- ben ag ew York; Joseph Dilworth, of Penasy!- vauia; J. Praltey: Smith, of Peunsy! George Stark, of New Bampabire; Alexander Mitchell, of Wisconsin; J. C. Ainsworth, of Oregon; John M. Deajean, of Maryland; Richard L, Ashurst, of Penn- syivania, Charies B. Twenty million dollars worth of preferred stock was reprerented at the meeting.
