‘CENSUS OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, a WecBrAsE IN THE LAST TEN YEARS NINE HUNDRED THOUSAND IN POPULATION—In VOTERS THREE HUNDRED THOUSAND, The Albany Argue is indebted to the courtesy of the Secretary of State for the resulte of the State censi which we anuex. It is possible that the final revision which the tables are now undergoing may somewhat change some of the tables, No material change, how- ever, is anticipated. Mr, Willers has given the taking of the census and the compilation of the returns his faishful supervision, and the fact is sufficient guarantee of the scrupulous care with which the work has been executed. On comparison with the State census taken ten years ago it will be seen that the population of tho State has increased nearly 900,000, and the number of ‘voters bas increased more than panic neal 81,606 Groene .... 81,882 Hamilton. . 2/960 Herkimer.. 39,929 Jeflerson.. 65,415 Kings...... 419,921 ivingston, , Medien 43,522 117,868 $4,457 942,202, Saratoga... .
