Paul was dead at 3545 a 3524 a 36 and the preferred advanced from 65% to 66%. Ohio and Mississippi started off at 17%, and after soiling at 17 closed at 1744. Atlantic and Pacific Telegraph was strong on the re- (ported extension of its wires .over the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad and its connections at 1934 a 20%.
