Carter, of Baitimore, also testified that ne ey the remains and recognized them as those Of Goss, Lewis Engle recognized a ring found in a bugey used by Udderzook as having belonged to Goss,j who boarded with Engie’s tather. J.A, Langley, of Baltimore, testified that Goss and himself had been photographed together in Baltimore and that the picture shown to the jury ‘was one of those taken. Daniel R. Mullin, of Delaware county, with whom Udderzook lived while a boy, testified to receiving aletter from Udderzook, dated October 28, 1871, in which the writer asked Mullin to board a man named Alexander C. Wilson, who wanted @ retired place to live, so as to wean himself from bad _ habits growing out of too much company. Mullin declined receiving the boarder, but on the 22d of June, 1872, a man ol the same name-came to board at nis house and stayed ‘until the 16th of November, when he leit to go to Athensville. Witness gave the same description of Wilson that the other witnesses did of Goss and recognized the picture of Goss as that of Wilson. The Court then adjourned until to-morrow.
