Since the arrest of Seddons and his trainer, George Leese, and backer, Johnny Murphy, at Rockaway a week ago, speculation Las been rife among sporting men as to when and where the men would meet again. It was finally arranged between the parties having the “entertainment” that a meeting should take place yesterday morning, The matter was kept a secret as far as possible, and information of we locality selected was imparted to but very few of the interested parties, The Rockaway excursion had been made altogether too pubiic, and the re- Suit was that the police of Brooklyn, under the veteran Inspector Folk, were down there almost as soon 8 the Seddong party were there themselves.
