Under these con- siderations it is likely that the valley route will be adopted. It is further stated that measures were adopted contemplating a union of effort on the part of the New York Central, New York and Erie and Wallkill Valley Hailroad Companios with those of the Albany and New York enterprise, to facilitate the coastruction of the latter at.the earliost day posable.
