Wagner, who keeps boarding house at Twenty-first street and Sixth avenue, yesterday appeared before Jus- ice Dodge, at the Jefferson Market Police Court, and entered a complaint against his wife, Mariah J. Wagner, and a man by the name of James H. Keiler, a clerk in a government office, From Wagner's affidavit, it appears that his wife on Saturday night bad been abusing bim, and that he threatened to put her out of the house if she did not let him alone, and “stop her tongue.” She would not do either, he said, but seized a carving khife, threateningly, and walked towards James H. Keller, = boarder, Complainant roshed towards her, but she moved along the table menacing bim, and handed the kuife to Keiler. Keller then interfered, be said, and “Qegan to say something,’’ whereupon complainant “What have you to do with it? I will put you out, too"? The complainant stated that the accused bad @icbed from her a pocket book valued at fifty cents anda quantity of stamps aggre- gating the sum of ninety-three cents, and altogether making a fi of earthly possessions something like $148, according to complainant’s estimation, in which jeep long acquaintance and old associations may have something to do in fixing the value. Elizabeth Mar- tin bad dropped her book of stamps and Catharine Beck had picked it up and unconsciously deposited it in her ly own pocket. On being requested to return the same she refused, and said she it not, but a policeman being called it, he discovered the identical goods in the pos- session of the accused.
