C Wagner, is Provost Marshal, commenced yesterday morning The Eleventh ward was honored with being the first portion of the district attended to. The quota ie 1,074, and the number to be drawn 2,148. Since the 28th of last month the number enlisted by the county bag not been returned, so that the last men drawn will be saved from impressment, as this complement, what- ever it is, will receive the proper credit. Everything passed off with the utmost quiet at the district headquar- ters yesterday. There was a strong force of police pre- sent, but no attempt of any kind was made to disturb the operations of the drawing.
