The stoek market opened more buoyant this morning, with a steady upward movement and larger sales. After the first call the general mar- ket advanced *{ a % per cent. Erie rose to 108, and closed at 107% a 107%. New York Central sold as high as 13834, There were small sales of Hudson River at 4272 advance. Harlem was Steady and +4 a % higher. The preferred was Offered at 110. Roading went up to 124%4—34 high- er than last evening. Cleveland and Pittsburg was active, and advanced { a4. Michigan Cen- tral was }% higher. Southern old brought 63% on the cal— advance—and was quoted at 84 a 8444 at the close. Illinois Central ad- vanced 4, ‘Chicago and neue wench cap and Pittsburg and Fort Wayne 7%. Lower rates are looked for. Gold was not as active this morning as it was on the previous days of the week, and prices went Gown. Mt The New’ York and New Haven Railroad Com- pany have changed $1,200,000 worth of the old fraudulent Schuyler shares, and given in return $600,000 worth of genuine stock. There yet re- main $800,000 of the fraudulent issues to be can- celled, which the company offer to exchange on the same basis of one for two, with the exception of a couple of hundred thousand dollars, which the company will refuse, on the ground that the stock was isssed to parties who were in collusion with Schuyler. By the report of the Reichsrath Committee on the proposed new Austrian loan it appears that the deficit in the budget for 1864 of 31,397,938 florins is likely to be reduced by 16,115,200 florins, the presumed amount of the newly proposed personal taxes.
