Now, as if pur- posely to add to our difficulties, the tide has re- versed, and the demand for money has become #0 great in Cincinnati and other Western cities that eight per cent is as easily obtained se five and a half was five months ago. The demand for money will probably continue until the first days of December, when the now closefisted banks will be relieved of their difficulties and become more openheerted.
