From the steerage forward to the gum deck there are number of fine etorerooms, bag lockers and purser’s atorerooms. On the borth deck again we find rooms of Jorge size, and, in fact, eee has more room than ono would suppose by looking at her outside, Tho builders have studied to make ber a mode! ship, and by common coasent she is pronouuced to bo a very desirable yossel for any eorvice, Should she go on the blockyde she bag the appliances for rendering her a beatthy vease!. The firomen and coalheavers have a bathroom, so that they can keop thomselves clean at all times. ‘The Messrs, Poilion wore the builders ef the gunboat Winons, which bas rendored such excellent service on the Mississippi river under Admiral Farragut.
