The jury believe that the immediate cause of the accident was (rou the unequal setting of the side walls, occasioned by one of them being dried during construction from tue hea! the ovous tn the adjoiaing building. We further belicve that the accident might Lave been avoided by the use of iron cross ties to prevent the spreading of the arches upon which the ovens were bullt, the omission of wh we cousider to have been an error of judgment oa part of the builders, the unequal drying of the walls being an unforesesa occurrence.
